Eckerd Awards 132 Stores to CNC
WASHINGTON - September 27, 2001. Current News Company announced today that it has reached a 2-year agreement with Eckerd Drug of Largo, FL to service magazines and books to 132 Eckerd stores in the Northeast region. The agreement takes effect November 5, 2001.
The distribution agreement covers stores in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The stores gained by CNC were formerly being served by Chs. Levy.
