CNC and Epic Inc. Distribution Agreement
CNC proudly announced on Friday, February 2nd, 2001, that it has reached a distribution agreement for newspapers, magazines and books with EPIC Pharmacies.
The agreement between CNC and EPIC is for two years, renewable. It enables CNC to introduce periodicals to EPIC outlets not currently carrying them, as well as offer upgraded service to EPIC stores who are receiving lackluster service from other agencies.
EPIC Pharmacies was formed in 1983 to give independent pharmacies the ability to compete on a level playing field with chain drug stores through collective buying power. Today, EPIC represents 387 independent pharmacies in seven (7) mid-Atlantic states, and is recognized as one of the premier pharmacy purchasing cooperatives in the U.S.
