Current Companies today began providing magazines to Speedway SuperAmerica locations in Illinois. Speedway is one of the nation's largest convenience store retailers. "We are very pleased to be doing business with Speedway," said Current CEO Tal J. Zlotnitsky. iControl Systems, Current Companies' newspaper-billing-consolidation affiliate, today announced an agreement to provide its billing-consolidation services on a national basis to Barnes & Noble, enabling the chain to transact all its newspaper business nationally through one entity. The agreement is iControl's second; since May 2005, iControl has provided the same services to Borders Books.

Current News was the proud recipient today of the Travel Traders New Vendor of the Year award at the Travel Traders trade show in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Accepting the award on behalf of Current were Tal J. Zlotnitsky, CEO, and Anthony D. Cannady, COO. "We are thrilled, honored, and humbled by this recognition," said Zlotnitsky. "Travel Traders is a tremendous partner and we're excited to be doing business with them." Current presently services 156 Travel Traders locations in 18 states, and manages the retailer's national promotions press program.

Current News today announced the addition of William (Bill) Landau as Senior Account Executive. Mr. Landau has been in the periodical industry for over 20 years, most recently as President of Midstates Distribution, a Pennsylvania wholesaler that had ceased operating in August 2006.
